Summer 2007 Newsletter Amendment
In our Summer 2007 letter we advertised a Choral Evensong (not organised by us) which is taking place at Holy Trinity Sloane Square London SW7 to commemorate the death of JF Bodley in 1907 - this was changed to 3rd November 2007 at 4pm.

Membership of the New Company
As a result of the constitutional changes approved by the 2005 AGM and which came into effect from 1st April 2006, we do have to trouble members to sign the form below and return it to us. (This can be done by email.)

This is because the effect of the changes is to make The Friends both a charity and a company limited by guarantee. Company law requires everyone who wants to be a member of the company to sign the guarantee. We hope that you agree that the obligation, which is standard with companies limited by guarantee, to pay a modest sum if it is wound up has been kept to the practical minimum of £1. The Society is flourishing and winding ourselves up is the last thing on the mind of trustees.
